 Masha'allah bro your cousin is very lucky. Walahi i just watched all 3 segments of this tour and it feels like my degree in the UK was a waste of time. Inshallah I would love to study there. In the third episode he interviews students, some from the UK, USA, and a somali brother from Sweden.

Also another good place to study is Dammaj in Yemen, subhanallah whilst doing my A level and degree (5 years), my freind went there and became a hafiz of the quran, fluent in arabic and gained tremendous knowledge in hadith. He recently came back to work in order to return for longer and also the problems between the govt and shia rebels.

I do not think your degree is waste of time. You can always go there and find a job in your field or teach English and while you are there increase your Islamic knowledge, that will be a great trade-off i would say.

anything is you dont even need to any high qualification to get in. all you need is a school living cerificate and British passport. i would recommend it any young brother, it is really an opportunity of a life time  and they provided everything for free and they even pay for you're visits to your family

  Great video

A great Place to study Traditional Islamic Sciences is
Dar al-Mustafa is an educational institute established for the study of traditional Islamic Sciences. It was founded in 1414 AH (1993 CE) in the city of Tarim, in the blessed valley of Hadramawt, Yemen. The Dar al-Mustafa campus was officially opened in Dhul-Hijjah, 1417 AH (May, 1997 CE). The prominent teachers are: Habib Umar ibn Hafidh and Habib Ali Jifry; along with many other descendents of the Prophet's lineage. The goals are three: Acquisition of knowledge, purification of one's character, and the dissemination of Islam. It must be said however, that the student schedule is extremely intense, and conditions are drastically different than western standards of housing and eating.
There is an adjacent institute solely for women, name Dar-al Zahra.
But it has become so popular that they have had to make it harder to get in :|

Somali star= your comments were deleted. Please keep your filth and ignorance to your self.

These brothers are trying to seek knowledge, mashallah. Unlike our resident 'keyboard jihadist', who claims piety, but constantly insults fellow forumers accusing many of kufr (istaqfruallah).
