Dilla Awdal

Dilla is the home town of many Somali actors such as Abdi Kamil Awale, Hibo Mohamed Hudoon, Abdi Sinimo, Omar Shabeel, Ubah Daahir (Fahmo), Rooda Ahmed, Nuh Aw Modaboobe,Hasan Elmi, Daa'uud Amir,Fadxiya Ali,Fariid Cayra,Faduun Duacaale and many others. It is also the home of many national heroes such as Shiekh Omar Goth Noor,Yousuf Ibrahim Shiekh(Quraab), Haji Hirsi Awaale and Haji Ibrahim Noor. Economically, Dilla is dependent upon agriculture. Dilla has the first coeducational school in Somali history.

All these legends from that little town? Ma dhici karto. You must talking about Awdal region or the whole Borame district.

You forget, Xasan Sheikh muumin, Tima jilic, Cabdirahman dheere and his brother Maxamed, Qalajo, Cabdi nuur Allale, Rashiid Bulo.

Dhaga Bacayl wallahi they are all from Dilla town. Not all of the Awdal. Dilla used to be a great town maxaa u maleyneysaa
