While the rest of the world is flying into the 21st century, somalis are still arguing about the "kacaan", who is a munafiq and who isn't, my qabiil is stronger or better than yours etc. Focking disgraceful :som:  .

Consider this:

India leads the world in probably 8 of the most horrific practices in human nature

They have the highest number of illeterates

They have the highest number of alcoholics

they have the highest number of people with HIV/AIDS

They have the highest % of poverty

They have the highest crime rate and murder rate (this is because there are so many social castes, religious groups, riots, and considering the fact that tehre are 40 cities with 1 million + people, violence is always a problem) Likewise more people die per day (which partially explains the huge population. Most people live for the day and take it a day at a time. life is not peaceful there by no means.

They have the highest number of prostitutes

They also have the highest % of malnutrition in the world and

they top the entire world in Corruption. India is hte most corrupt country in our world and it shows clearly.

Government is not doing its job, access to clean water is about slim to none for more than 50% of the population. Farming and agriculture are shot because of the same politicians.

Indians is growing but it still has a lot of growth still to do. Brazil as well. The problem with Brazil and India is with a growing economy comes social inequality. The rich are getting richer while poor are getting poorer. The wealth is in the hands of very few people and the well isn't spread around

However, it's great to see these countries emerging. The Anglo domination is going to end soon

Development is not about high rise buildings, it is quality of life. Wallahi there are more people starving in the smallest Indian town than the biggest and smallest towns in Somalia. The only plces where starvation is rampant amongst Somalis is baadiyaha

Its crazy how Chinas' economy has already started to recover (not shocking tho). The western world want china to re-avulate its currency so that its up to part with its trading-but we'll see if china actually does it...for now, its happy with its doubl digit forcast growth in the export industry.

Really brings it home. I think some countries were more developed than Somalia in the 18th century. If only the TFG, shabab, basically all moryaan's in disguise actually take inspiration from this.

What do all of these "emerging Markets" have in common? External investments, size, population, or FOCKING infrastructure!? Somali has neither of those things, coupled with civil strife, poverty, and a constant migration. I'll be damned if Geographic location's all we're bringing to the table, while competing with these other countries on the global scale. :?

My friend it doesn't matter if some of the population is poor, what matters is that the pace of growth of their economy and infrastructure. It doesn't matter for now if the vast majority is poor and a minority is getting richer, my point is at least someone is getting richer. Not like somalia where the noone is rich.

And who the heck's fault is that? Nobody but somalis destroyed their country, nobody but somalis caused the poverty and civil strife. These countries built their economies from scratch and their people were patriotic and showed their patriotism through action not just lip-service like the somalis. You can wave the blue flag all you want but if you're just gonna sit in a nice house in Canada, USA or whatever and make excuses your country will remain in the gutter. The number one somali excuse is "there is no peace". There is peace in Hargeisa, there is peace in Bosaso, there is peace in Djibouti (and that is still a shit hole) so please quit the drama. I saw a programme about the economic rise of china and it showed a poor man being evicted out of his home by the government for it to build luxury apartment and office blocks. When asked if he feels angry and annoyed at the governments random rehousoing of him and his family, he replied "I am proud serve my country in it's economic progress". You would think he said that out of fear but he was talking in an undisclosed place where nobody could see him. If a somali was asked the same question; he would probably curse the government, its leader, the leaders clan and ancestors.
