Not practical. Too many divergent interests to make for a unitary state in this region. Marehan interest is not the same as Ogadeen interest and both their interests are not the same as D&M interest. Just don't see how this will work out. But, by all means, do try pleaseMurax wrote:A proposed Admin in South Western Somalia comprising Gedo, Jubooyinka, Lower Shabelle, Bay, Bakool. Ceyr still has a considerable political, military and demographic presence in L Shabelle. Indocade might be gone, but his people are still there.Murax wrote:Siciid85 wrote:I though lower shabelle was a Cayr/Abgaal domain?

Twisted,
The L Shabelle Shabab Vs Previous Admin Had a much bigger qabiil element than it did in other places. No question about it, that qabiil undertones were used, especially When You consider D&M make up the majority of Shabab.

Murux,
That could be true. But the Ceyr haven't nor will they leave. They have invested money and energy into L Shabelle to simply just pack up and leave. You can't imagine the number of mansions and farms they own especially in the regions around Afgoi. The Murusade too, and Mudulood is at least 1/3 of the Afgoi population. Al Shabab is a temporary threat. Once it is ousted, the realities will manifest and no-one will question Ceyr legitimacy in L Shabelle.

Murax Why not just start with The 2 jubbas and gedo first, and set up a good base first and later when everything is set , You can involve the Bay and bakool regions, It needs to be build step by step, Start From Garbaharay.move to Kismayo and later move to Jilib and
bu aale the upper jubba and establishing step by step the administration

Is it strange that Emperior knows so much about southern geography yet none of us southerners can name more than 4 northern cities before somalinet and only 5 after somalinet.

Paidmonk,
It is sort of like living and growing up in a big East Coast city and not knowing anything about the Midwest beyond Chicago.

Re: SouthWest State/Koonfur Galbeed
I probably know 6 northern cities after somalinet, but I only knew hargeisa before somalinet. i always heard of berbera but never knew its location. I never heard Burco in my entire life even though i have isaaq cousins and its one of the biggest cities in all of somalia.grandpakhalif wrote:I still don't know 5

Are You saying all this out of Hawiyenimo?
Seriously though, it is truth that contemporary realities change. Pre 1991 Cayr may have not been in L Shabelle, but today they are, so Yes they should be in the Administration of the region
But I think post Shabab, I can see some serious tensions boiling over in L Shabelle
