Basically Obama wants to introduce universal health care, but the rich folks don't want any part of it since they make enough money to handle their own hospital bills and are vehemently opposed to helping pay for the hospital bills of those who can't afford it.

Contrary to popular believe, congressmen will suffer if they don't pass the HealthCare bill and I think the bill will go through the House and the Senate this week. The votes are there.

Londoner, everyone would have to pay for the subsidization through increased taxes, which is why the rich are upset...the "haves" don't want the government dipping into their pockets to help provide for the "have nots" in terms of medical costs and healthcare cuz they know they're covered if they ever require medical attention cuz their pockets are fat enough to absorb the cost....whereas poorer Americans currently have to choose which finger to surgically reattach if they lose both in an accident and can only afford the procedure for one...and also why they sometimes get denied treatment at the hospital by doctors because they don't have health insurance and no money to pay for the treatment (there's a good documentary about this called "Sicko" by Michael Moore...a good watch )

House is going to pass the Senate bill, Obama signs into law than Senate placates house concerns through budget reconciliation--which would never have been possible if Dems were still 60 and Lieberman was in the mix. Scott Brown made health care possible.

I hope it doesnt pass. Seriously, Londoner, dont believe all this hype from MrYoung and Twisted.Everyone in america can get medical attention today. All they have to do is go to an emergency and they will get it free.There is medicare, and there is medicaide. Gosh look at the somali refugees, the young get it from their employment and the old have a free unearned pension paychecks and free medical. So if refugees can get this, what think of the citizens? The government helps out the people in mininum proportions. United states can never be a sociliast country, its an oxymoron to make it so. Health care is one of the machine engine of this countries economy.My fundamental refusing of govermenting health care is, it will turn us into a thirld world country.IT fk up the free market capitalism that business do so well, and it make the precautious goverment a giant, and giant dont take any market risk.Capitalism is about everyone dip in and lets make some money.Sociliasm is about governement, and government is about sleeping and regulating and whatever. The number one arguement to reform health care is to police Insurance companies, that is take away their right to choose who to give or not to give insurance coverage. Yes, i am talking about "pre-existing condition". But u dont have to change an entire system for that single arguement. Why cant Obama just pass a simple law--no turning people with pre existing condition away.Simple as that. What other strong arguement do the Obama care have in their side? Hellooooo anyone in here help me?


Obama care will not pass. This country was found on the values of capitalism, we cant baby seat adoons and other minority and give them some peace of 'mind"! Lets get real.

Out of Country Emergency Health Services

Emergency health services are those given in connection with an acute*, unexpected condition, illness, disease or injury that arises outside Canada and requires immediate treatment.

* * Treatment for a short period of time in which a patient is treated for a brief but severe episode of an illness, disease, condition or injury.

The Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) only covers emergency health services at very limited rates. For example, an outpatient visit to a U.S. emergency room may cost thousands of dollars for the duration of your care, however OHIP will only reimburse up to a total of $50.00 CDN per day for this service regardless of the severity of the situation. If you plan to travel outside of Ontario, it is strongly recommended that you obtain additional private medical insurance and fully understand what your policy covers.
