As-Salaamu 3alaykum,
The IPG, SPG, and the public Somaliland forum are plagued by mediocrity. This is so not for lack of intelligence but for sheer stubbornness. It has become common around here to debase oneself just to receive a clapping emoticon. I think it’s time we changed our mind set and eliminated all the negativity from our consciousness. It is time we debated about the real issues facing Somaliland and Somaliland citizens globally.
Nevertheless, before we can move on to national issues, we need to address internal Isaaq issues first. The first issue that needs to be tackled is Isaaq leadership. It is imperative we have a leader that has the respect and the allegiance of his constituents. The fact Emperior could not diffuse this crisis under his watch should be grounds to remove him from his position. He should have had enough clout as a leader to make Keyse change GSNM's colour back to black from pink. Writing long essays while the situation continues to escalate doesn't cut it. It was under his watch the IPS was "exposed". As a result of this, I believe Emperior should not be entrusted to lead. He should have a permanent ban from seeking any office where he has sole leadership. In light of the above, I move to inaugurate Rightwing as our new leader. He is by far the most level headed individual on this site. I am sure the vast majority of people will agree with me on this.
The second issue is to give appropriate judgement on the issue that happened between GSNM & Keyse. Even though, GSNM threw the first blow, Keyse did retaliate by trading insults with GSNM. I believe the moment Keyse used his moderating powers to make GSNM's name pink, he went too far. This was a clear abuse of power and Keyse should lose his moderating powers forever as a consequence. I also feel GSNM should lose his membership in the ISP & SPG for his subsequent actions of what he termed "exposing ISP" forever. I don't believe we need an explanation for a permanent ban on GSNM.
Once we address these two issues, I think we can move forward and discuss issues that are beneficial for our country & our communities.
