Is it a form of cheating when you like/love someone because that person reminds you of unfulfilled love in your past?

The past is gone so that is a full stop but I guess the cheating is on the present. What kind of a woman/man would not feel cheated on if their significant other loves them through the remembrance of their past? I would not even be surprised if that person tries to make them an identical look alike of their past love!!! What do you think?
