Teenage girl missing after going to meet a man she had fallen for on Facebook

A north London teenager has been missing since Tuesday, after meeting a man she met on Facebook.
Demi Wright, 15, described as 'naive' by her mother, has a heart condition requiring daily medication, but she has not been heard from since she travelled across London to meet the self-styled gangster going by the name 'Sefa'.
Her mother, Johanna Shaw, 40, said she had discovered sexually explicit messages that the pair had traded, as well as a comment on MSN messenger from Sefa bragging that he had almost been shot while with his gang.

Demi's Oyster card record shows its last use being for a trip from Winchmore School towards Brixton.
'It's a nightmare, this is completely out of character,' Ms Shaw told The Sun.
'Demi is so trusting, naive and immature and she's been lured away by someone on the internet.
'I'd have sworn she'd never have done this,' she added.

The case bears striking resemblance to that of 17-year-old Ashleigh Hall, who was killed by a predator in his 30s who won her trust on Facebook by pretending to be a good looking teenage boy.
Ms Shaw had discussed the case with her daughter in an effort to stop he using the social networking site.

She said the sexual nature of Demi's messages had surprised her.
'There was some serious sexual stuff which surprised me because Demi's quite immature. She played along with things he was saying.
'Before social networking sites this never would have happened. She'd have stayed with people she knew and could trust.'
Police are exploring 'the possibility that Demi had met with someone she's met on the internet'. A spokesman said she had communicated with Sefa through Facebook and MSN chat.
A missing persons investigation is underway.

On 20/20 (show in north America) last week, a middle age woman used her 18 year old daughter pics and went hunting online as Tallblondgal. She was talking to a 47 yr old man. The man falls for Tallblondegal wants to meet her and she tell him she met a 22 year old guy, and that he is too old for her blah bla. The older man goes and shoots the 22 yr old who all this time thought he too was talking to a 18 yr old girl. 22 yr guy is dead, 44 yr old man is in jail. The woman is now divorced and her daughter in not talking to her.
