Awdal prince stop your lies

Post by The_Emperior5 »

Dont quote me nonsense. The SNM militants were comprised of every Isaaq clan and they couldnt even get past Dilla. Read this:

"In January 1991, as the southern Hawiye-based United Somali Congress (USC)finally chased Siyad Barre’s forces from Mogadishu (but at the same time started anew chapter of a seemingly endless civil war) the SNM liberated Hargeisa. InFebruary its troops entered the Gadabursi dominated region of Awdal, a clan that hadgiven low-key support to Barre’s regime and clashed with Gadabursi militia, but then withdrew....
At the end of January 1991, after liberating Hargeisa, the victorious Isaq-led SNM proceeded west towards the Gadabursi territory, a clan that had given low-key support to Siyad Barre’s regime, with whom they clashed in the city of Dilla, the first city ofthe mainly Gadabursi region of Awdal as one travels from Hargeisa. The clash led tothe destruction of the town and the ensuing exodus of the mainly ReerNur/Makahil/Gadabursi population to Ethiopia gave rise to the camp of Teferi Berwith some 98,000 people. Many local Farah/Nur/Yonis/Makahil, infiltrated the refugee caseload of the mainly Mahamud/ Nur/Yonis who escaped from Dilla, located only 15 km away. The SNM then continued westwards towards Borama and a brief stand-off with the local militia - however solved after 24 hours" (Ambroso: 2002).

So this proves you withdrew straight back to Hargeisa after the Battle of Dilla and then called for Ethiopian assistance to attack Borama.

"The SNM accepted Ethiopian assistance, thus violating an imperative of Somali nationalism (Markakis 1994:233). However, in 1988, the Ethiopian government, desperate to move troops to stabilise its northern front where it confronted Eritrean rebels, made peace with Siyad Barre and agreed to expel the SNM fighters from their sanctuaries in Ethiopia (Clapham 1995:79-80).

Its not a secret that you and Ethiopia were in it together, thats the only way you reached Borama. Plus you were only fighting one sub sub clan known as Reer Maxamuud Nuur so calm down. I am Samaroon sxb, I dont live anywhere near Jibril Abokor, we dont even know who you are, its only one small subclan that you deal with walle

This what you said you said that the snm where getting help from the Ethiopians what is your source where do u get this bulshit from. The link Between SNM and Ethiopia stopped in 1988 april. When Mengistu told the snm to leave his country no Xidhiid whats so ever was made between the SNM and Ethiopia., Ethiopia stopped training SNM and told them that they could not stay in their country and should leave that’s when the snm started fighting inside their own country The snm factions took over the awdal region as a whole. And there were no Ethiopians involved Ethiopia and snm had no Connection Or relations after 1988 april.

And this totally false Ethiopia was Not even involved in Somali politics back then There was big war happening at that time Between mengistu and tplf and Eplf. Why the hell would mengistu a group of factions he stopped supporting in 1988 Support them back , his aim was to fight off tplf and eplf.

Siad and his clansmen, the Darods, progressively tried to harass and replace the Isaaq entrepreneurs, and the military brutally suppressed the local people. The SNM, with Ethiopian support, began retaliatory raids, and repression increased accordingly.

In 1987, there was another cynical deal. Siad and President Mengistu Haile Mariam of Ethiopia, both tottering in the face of internal dissent, agreed to stop supporting insurgents on each other's territory. Expecting to be thrown out of its Ethiopian bases, the SNM took the initiative, entering northern Somalia in strength and defeating Siad's forces. His retaliation was brutal. His military took apart Hargeisa, the northern capital, with such ferocity that even now it is still a wasteland.

Let me quote your source this what I said SNM were supported by Ethiopia till the year 1988, after 1988 April there was no relations no connection SNM headquarters was removed from dirdhawe and it located in Baligubudle., So my point is there was No Ethiopians Involved when the SNM took over boorama and the entire region of awdal., Because there were no ties no relations no connections SNM new headquarters was in balugubudle Not any more in dirdhawe., Ethiopian asstance stopped that was the reason why snm invaded Somaliland and fought the sna in the big cities.

The Ethiopians only ended "official support". In politics that doesnt mean jack. It just means they wont admit to supporting the SNM anymore. Its like I see a plane flying in the sky but I refuse to either acknowledge it or deny it.

Besides you still carried the Soviet made Ethiopian supplied weapons. So it wasnt a fair fight to begin with. Wallahi that makes me respect reer Dilla even more, they fought with lack of weapons, ammunition and they still made the brave SNM run away.

Ethiopia stopped their assistance in 1988 political military , the snm located their headquarers from dridhawe to Baligbudle, Ethiopia had no interest in supporting SNM any more Siyad barre stopped Supporting TPLF and Eplf. Mengistu was busy Just Fighting his factions off, It does not matter the gudubuurs were armed by Afweyne with the same Sovjet Made weapons, you were supporting the jebertis. For what? But the snm did it all on their own With no Ethiopian assistance No Ethiopians were involved In our Fight Against the jebertis And their Lapdogs.
