Puntland Cities went from half villages to top notch Somali cities today in 12 years. Aaba Siyad is only missed in the South, in particual, Mogadishu Gedo, iyo Kismayo.

Somalia just needs peace and foreign investment will come after. But right now no matter how much progress they have achieved in the north, when you look at it from a global perspective Somalia = shithole. Why do I care about if Puntland is better than Somalia or vice versa. Puntland is desert which is currently using a makeshift port while South Somalia has two ports. South Somalia is a violent place which cannot find peace

Why are you always bringing the the somali before 1991 on the table? MSB AUN built Somalia with the finance of foreign countries. The main road between Garowe and Bosaso was built by Italy, the port of Mogadishe was built by foreign countries. Somalia lived from hand outs for crying out loud, don't act like MSB's regime was some kind of economical greatness, wwe lived from hand-outs, we were at the mercy of other countries, when they stopped their suport the country collapsed, that says alot.

You keep mentioning the boats to yemen, believe me if reer mudug or reer somaliland were able to flee during the red berret terror they would. Besides alot of Students never came back to Somalia before when they got scholarship, i wonder why.
