The bay area doesn't have too much Somalis, and Your Uncle is probably well off, that area is expensive as shyt. Most Somalis in the West Coast are either in San Diego or Seattle. Murax its funny how my uncle got to the usa, when he was young he hid in a ship he worked at befoe it sailed off at the port of berbera. they found him hiding there well into their journey, so they though fuk it lets take him with us. they came bristol, stayed for few days, then they took him to america new york to be precise. the whole family though he was dead no news from him for years. the sotry is long but how he made it and ended up in the west coast of america is reall funny

In those places they are probably overshadowed the the majority Somali clans there. Btw though, in Saudi, most of the Somalis with Saudi Citizenship were Isaaqs. Sadly for them though they picked up a lot of the bad habits of the Saudis

It just so happened that the only Somalis I saw that Had Saudi Citizenship were Isaaqs who migrated there ages ago before the later arrivals. The habits are basically most Somalis who are Saudi citizens regardless of qabiil. Stuff like khamro, wasting money, being lazy, abusing foreigners etc.

Murax, i am going to be honest i have seen some isaaqs who were born in saudi arabia and who drink, but that is when they were in the USA i am not sure if they started drinking in saudi arabia or in the states, nevertheless the community has it's fair share of well mannered, successful people people aswell.

I'm only talking about the ones I saw. Hopefully they are the exception. When I saw it, I just thought it was a waste because these people could actually be a huge benefit to their people back in their home (Somaliland). As Saudi citizens they can establish chartiable orginizations there, that could help do some relief work there, schools, clinics, educatiion, etc.
