In my neighbourhood up the hill ,the water doesn't flod anything . It just comes down the slope
I mean we were once told by the native inhabitants of Hargeysa , you bloody smelly outsiders from Galbeed do not belong here , don't you dare come down the western elevated flanks of the city (xero awr) . Okay ! Turns out we've got the best looking cleaner neighbourhood of all Hargeysa

DON`T THEY HAVE ANY PAVEMENTS IN THAT "CITY"?
WHY DON`T THEY SAVE THE WATER,SO THAT IN A FEW MONTHS TIME THEY WON`T BE DYING OF THIRST?

Yeah saving a couple of raindrops with a bowl to save water for the harsh summer ahead , dhulbahante to the core ,my mother had us do that when we were kids ,eventhough we lived in a city with a proper water system
PS: okaaay..okay it wasn't our mother's but my idea ,just to drink it ..I don't know why we always found it xaaaaax ,alla macaana biyaha roobku !

Yet dealing with droughts in that area is pretty much immanent in yearly bases.SahanGalbeed wrote:Dhaga the dhulbahante do not know that water evaporates , they think you can store it indefinitely .

Re: Heavy Rains in Hargisea
HEY,WHERE DO YOU THINK YOUR TAP WATER COMES FROM?
IT WAS ONCE RAIN,THAT FLOWED INTO RIVERS AND STORED IN RESERVOIRS.
INSTEAD OF BAD MOUTHING DULBAHANTE,WHY DON`T YOU TRY A BIT OF CONSTRUCTIVE THINKING.
LIKE,INSTEAD OF SEEING ALL THESE MILLIONS OF GALLONS OF WATER GOING TO WASTE,WHY NOT TRAP SOME
TO BE USED IN THE DRY SEASON.
PS I`M THINKING A BIT LARGER THAN FEW BUCKETS BY THE ROOF.
