Why does Both mucarad parties have a gudaboursi as vice president?
Is this something that has to be done in order to keep samaroon clan happy and in the union?

Why not There is no problem with Gadabuursi being vice president of somaliland
Gadabuursi fully accepted somaliland in 1993 in the borame shir , cadalaad ba la sameya

Emperior, now i understand why riyaale said no to Qaran party, because there was no gadabursi vice president it was, Dr.Gaboose- H.Y - Chairman - Muj. Maxamed Hashi as vice president. and the fact that Dr Gaboose had something to do with the former government in the past didn't help either, since he joined the SNM late at 1989.

Could be But riyaale really stopped The qarran party because he will lose 60% of his votes If h.y have a running candidate for the presidency, that would mean exit, But qarran joined Kulmiye , Kulmiye is stronger then ever now With The qaran party ina xashi and dr gaboose. With ina bixi and silanyo With ismacil yare and Drewel, With dr Seylici., Udub walahi sanadkan wa tageysa.

New Commision installed.
The Voteregistrations Fixed.
Udub tried everthing to stop Kulmiye seems like they out of plan now. And leaving the country
The country is Peacefull.
There is no reason any more to stop the election.

I didn't say there was but it seems not normal for all parties to include them in their highest ranks.
Its now obvious to me that its done because they dont want them to say were out if riyaale leaves.
Also Siiinaayo could of had a HY Vice president for more votes since its the biggest Clan in somaliland,
But no although he needs the vote he made saylaci his second hand man.

Asad, even though they are the vice president in kulmiye, most Gadabursis support UDUB and even in last elections most voted for UDUB.

Emperior, wrong Gadhweyne are mostly UDUB with some as UCID ask even Yawle the gadhweyn man , we have witnessed that already 12 out of the H.Y candidates in sanaag, only 1 was a kulmiye candidate the rest were UDUB - Muse ismaicils, - Sacad Yoonis were mainly divided into UDUB & UCID, there is some sections of xirsi cismaan which support kulmiye but not all, muse cabdalle mostly support UCID, as for Isxaaq i am not so sure about them but last elections they fully supported UDUB & UCID mostly, etc that is how the voting pattern of H.Y sub clans were mostly.

Last elections The Makahil abdiraxman aw cali was the vp from the same subclan of Daahir riyaale
now there is A maxammad case a large clan in awdal and also the majority gadabuursi in jabuuti.

Emperior, that is for Cilmi Dheere the samaroon ugaas of somalinet to answer if there is any truth to what you are saying, besides majority gadabursis are those from the Borama , Hawd areas not seylac, the mahadasse mainly inhabit seylac with cisse.

Your right about both gudbaoursi and gadhweyne. In Sannag they are the majority HY clan and they are mostly Udub and Ucid and not Kulmiye majority.
Its not just reer Caynashe who are not votin for kulmiye dont get it mixed up saxib its majority of HY.
Just because a few small clans who are not even fully kulmiye doesn't mean anything.
