Is this a condition? Why do i love gossip like this??? Wallaahi my love for gossip has taken me to the length of reading 18th century letters of english folks. I purchase Jane Austen cousin's letters to another mutual cousin. These are letters of Eliza de feuillide, who was a first cousin to Jane Austen. She was born in India and grew up in France in the mid to the end of 18th century. The letters are a fortune to gossip. This Eliza cousin later was married to a count--and who was later killed in the french revolution. But Eliza escaped to England just in time. The letters show an array of husband hunting schemes. Eliza was eying then the barchelor William Pitt the younger--prime minister of UK. It shows how she admired him and lusted over him. Which consequently has made me lust over him. I have to read Wikipedia once aday about William. Eliza later in a defeatist moment settled for her cousin, Henry Austen,Jane Austen's favorite brother.Here is a link...
