Sh. Abdiwali Mohamed Yusuf passed away last night in his sleep while paying a visit to his sick mother. Sh. Abdiwali was one of the most sincere and gifted brothers that you instantly liked with first encounter. Sh. Abdiwali was one of those rare breeds in our midst; calm and cool. One of his best traits was also not discussing qabil, talking ill of others, or harboring any ill feelings towards his brethren. He started Salaama Travel Agency when Somali businesses were rare. He grew the business and stuck with it through out when people were jumping from one thing to another. the few times we crossed roads, he was always quite and inquiring. In a mosque filled with odd and charlatan characters, Sh. Abdiwali represented serenity. He was also someone who invested his time and money in building mosques, seeking donations, traveling on behalf of it, and was lucky enough to see the completion of the Abubakar Al Siddique Mosque. Sh. Abdiwali Dheere will be missed immensely. Ilaahay Jannatul Fardowsa ha ku abaalmariyo.

AUN!
Didn't he had a travel Agency? I think my family use to buy tickets from him frequently, weather going to Hajj or Africa.
He is a great man, I use to see him in the mosque. Also dying peacefully in his sleep after praying the Isha prayer in the mosque, shows how good he is.
