The word is Ludo...it's not somali; it's played all about but it's somewhat popular in the caribbeans. They even sold a children's version at Wolco's Woolworth in the late 80's...it was called "double trouble"

My siblings and I use to do that in the holidays. We'd make it a lil interesting though coz we couldn't play for money (poor+ haraam) so we'd make each other do each other's house chores/ prepare food etc .
By the time the 'rents come home house would be spotless

yeah we did that too in poker...not chores per se but punishments like swallowing a spoonful of salt, drinking a cocktail of tabasco sauce, pepto bismol, vinegar and a whole lot of other crap or chugging down 2 liters of warm water as fast as possible...I tell you, the pressure of losing was worse than if you were in Vegas and the pot was a mil.
