NEC claims new voter registration list will have 10% of fake voters. That means if the list has 1 million voters at least 100,000 thousand of it will be totally fake. Who on this mother earth has any semblence of confidence in such a list?

This is a recipe for a total disaster. The government should immediately reject this voter list before hell breaks loose. There is no way that anyone will have any confidence in such a focked up list. Period.

from my understanding its not 10% voters are fake on the list but they removed 10% that were fake on the list

What is the alternative to the registration? Is holding elections without registration an alternative? How is it better to hold election just using an ink marker but without a registration list or proper identification, then using a list, biometrics, and along with the ink markers on election day? Baroortu orgiga ka weyn, so the list may not be perfect, but the alternative of delaying election or holding it without any safeguards except an ink marker which is going to be employed anyways even with the registered list is far worse. Remember riyaale's mandate has long expired, the international community's intervened and brokered an agreement because the current government failed Somaliland's democratization and push for recognition. its no longer about the NSS gestapo's credibility but the international community that is on the hook and their reputation on the line. Holding the election is a must my friend, Riyaale is no longer pushing around the poor, and illiterate nomadic population around, he is facing an international community directly engaged in the process. BTW, the commission added back to the list about 100000 people that were de-listed majority were from togdheer, sanaag and hargeisa lol... more bad news indeed for udub lol. And since the same list will be used for the local and parlaimentary elections, I see huge set backs beyond the executive for UDUB and their cheerleading communities lol

How does UDUB propose to rig the election can u elaborate what u heard, because that prospect has been made much difficult now lol? The only way UDUB can come back is by free and fair election. In other words, UDUB is expected to loose and to loose big, and only free and fair election will give them legitimacy if they win...its possible there are still some corrupt imperialist powers around who would like their favorite corrupt puppets in power without regard to the will and aspirations of the people, but u know and I know that shit wont fly this time.

Rayaale is fully aware that he can't come back by free and fair election. On the other hand Rayaale is not facing any international community as they are there just to help. Waxay odhan doonaan "The quality of African elections kolayba waa incomplete". From my close observation during my short holiday, it is obvious that the majority of the somaliland people wants a change ... They want get rid off this goverment. Most of people have lost confidence in this current one. Event for undecided voters like me would vote for opositions for change.
Mark my word sxb, the goverment have the power and logistics and would be secured enough for local officials to rig the vote.
