Somalia Needs a Dictator

A ruthless one that will destroy everything in his path equally from Al Shabab to the TFG one that will kill everybody equally with no concern of what tribe they belong to. Something firefighters use fire to stop fire maybe its time we had more killing to really achieve peace. It doesn't matter who is at fault of what and who did what or how Ethiopia is fueling both sides but to have 20 years of civil war is rather pathetic. The Prophet did say every nation receives a ruler who they deserve maybe we need someone like Saddam who wouldn't think twice about using destructive force to any opposition and why stop there why not kill there families while he is at it...perhaps then we can get a bit of peace and actually build a country rather then being a failed state which is home to terrorism and useless violence amongst weak and directionless groups.

in the north...

the rest of you forget that , you think that it started in 91.

siad barre took over a democratically elected government in 1969.

this means that we had only

11 years of peace..

11 years of peace is a damned more then we have now, you cant deny that much. Furthermore the whole north rebelling was about tribes simple as we would have somebody like sadam who'll mustard gas anybody who revolts.

If siyad didnt kick out the russians and decided to let the WSLF do thier work unaided by the army,
the Russians would have looked the other way to aid for the WSLF and others.

If then he attacked ethiopia in 88 or anytime after 85 then we would have our own unofficial empire in Ethiopia
and an independant oromia, Tigray, Afaria and many other states would be clients of somalia..

Siyads son would probably be the next in line to a MOD monarchy,

i blame the god damned saudis for this disaster..
siyads government was politically incompetant,

but saudi arabias egging on didnt help..

they offered $400 million dollars straight up
and promised gaurenteed american support if siyad cut the links with the Soviets..

carter told them noway, and somalia had to wait till Reagen and 81 for the first aid to come..
by then the SNA was finished.
