This is a desperate plea to get British Somalis voting, especially the young and the students. More than ever this election year matters. Majority of UK Somali families are emerging into the economy, buying homes, paying student loans and setting up businesses. We are second generation and we need to identify ourselves as Brits and claim our share. You might think who is in government won’t affect you, but com’on, this year’s battle is all about the working class, and Somalis are working class.

Also I’d like to stress that labour needs our vote, for some crazy reason working class voters are forgetting the benefits they got for the past 10 years. The crash and the war has distorted people’s views and no-one sees the reality.
Cameron will increased VAT which will hit working class (students in particular) much more than anyone else, cuts in public services in order to reduce inheritance tax on the wealthiest estates in the country and the raising of taxes on the low and middle bands to fund a tax cut for those earning £150k and above. This includes the NHS, Education and community funding and benefits. Life will be ten-times harder under the Tories. And the rich will just get richer and fat.

Lib dems is a wasted vote in my opinion, but anything is better than voting Tories.

Vote Labour. Brown might be ugly but he’s honest and he is qualified for the position.

My family and I will be voting lib dem...labour can't win where I am. I reckon these tv debates have confused people though ..everyone seems to think that we're voting for a leader.

Actually Lib Dems are the only ones who said that they would not increase VAT. Last I checked labour were grey on this. Either way though vote Lib Dem or vote Labour if you wish but it would be a good idea to vote, keep the Tories out

to be fair some of the taxation is blatant robin hood style

I know 50% tax rate is madness lol

But while I'm getting full grants..I say carry on labour

Tax will rise from all parties, the economic slum is the reason.
