AH YES, I REMEMBER....

Post by afisoone »

I remember many anti-caydiid including my old neighbor dancing in Eistleigh, Nairobi, in 1996, because the greatest enemy of somalia "Caydiid" is dead.
I remember many "mooryaan" supporters, including "Caydiid" himself celebrating in Villa Somalia, when they heard Siyaad Barre is dead.

Those are memories of hatric among somali people, what is striking me today is those who still believe the idea of "mooryaanimo" needs to be return in the streets of Mogadishu. how pathetic is that? After 2 decades of mass murdering of those "Mooryaans", some of us think without them is nothing. I have heard people who are addicted to drugs, all sort of things, but I never heard people who are addicted to "killing".

We can sit here and discuss all the good things that human being enjoy every day, but if you addicted to killing, there is nothing much we can do to change your misfortune addiction.

AGASH YES, I REMEMBER MOORYAANTII MOGADISHU......

If a region has been for a very long time under the rule of the jungle and its inhabitants solely believed that if I am stronger than you, then, you are my slave, how can these folks be re-introduced to civility and the idea that law is the supreme rule and is above all. Should there be a gradual re-introduction of societal laws or just have these laws re-introduced like the big bang: harsh & immediate and then relax it bit by bit when the subjects are under control?

that is why Shabaab is precisely in the South than any other place. When you are grounds to breed murderers, you attract like minded individuals, leading not to extracting ideas sanction by the wider society, but reinforcing it day in and out. That all the 'mooryaans' chose Xamar and the south as bases to expand, recruit, and settle tells more about the area's tolerance for such groups by not forming or establishing order that would have made it impossible for them in the first place or the potential to remove them now. It seems like Xamar and the south are becoming experts of dismounting things from their proper injunction than maintaining a system or building one from scratch.
