The Extinction of The Somali....

To what extent can you say that the Somali will become extinct in a matter of a few generations?

- A growing diaspora that finds foreign languages easier to speak in than their own
- Marriages amongst Somalis have become a joke - divorce and remarriage is taken lightly and weddings are nightclubs.
- Within the marriage some fathers are spending less and less time with their kids, this has led to a rise in juvenile delinquents in our community
- Men with multiple wives only marry the virgins/unwed girls and then divorce them when the baasto or bariis is not cooked on time, leaving more divorcees
- Religion has become a tool to score cheap points and is worn and taken off at the whims of the persons desires
- Our culture has been sidelined and we do not seek to preserve our historic poetry and folk tales. If any of you do not understand the importance of culture - read up on Nazi Germany (I read that Goebbels killed men for even bringing the subject up)...without culture, you do not exist as an entity...you are ready for either assimilation or the ghettos and then extinction.
- We have the greatest amount of disunity in the continent and abroad...and when you do not share a common goal, you are then ripe for extinction because the common goals of others will dictate how your country and your development is run...i,e..your extinction is their profit.
- We have already begun to devalue women. This is how the African Americans brought themselves down. By devaluing women in your society, you are creating your own extinction. The word 'whore' and its many synonyms are the most detrimental. What happens then is that either some little girls believe that this is indeed an option (look at the West) or they reject anything which demeans them this much and marry outside of that. Extinction.
- The number of Somali men in prison has been steadily on the rise. Again, you need not look any further than the 'Aborigines' of Australia to see what an effect that will have. Again, extinction. When women are met with either losers, religious hypocrites, men who take marriage lightly and so on...what will happen is that the chasm in our society will grow to much more than simply qabyaalad.....we will die out.

There is a new generation of somalis that have grown up in the west that have maintaied thier somaliness
but have also aquired education..

if they only represent 10 % of the population of young somalis
there is hope..

let us discard those that have degenerated..

in a future somalia to investigate returning somalis to insure no polllution returns..

1. no atheists- agnostics and other religions
2.no homosexuals

Culture is not a priority in Islam your deen comes first.

your culture does not have to conflict with your religion.

islam is a major part of our culture in the first place, this goes without saying
you are not a somali if you are not a muslim.
