Dearly Beloved,

We are gathered here to remember Forums Somalinet. For 12 years, Forums provided entertainment and joy to Somalis from all over the world. Alas in the last few years of his life, Somalinet became afflicted by a series of mysterious illnesses: qabiilism, religious extremism, and sexism.

Forums' family did whatever they could do cure their ill father. They sought advice and treatment from all kinds of people:

Screw - Chief resident Psychiatrist - He prescribed a series of antipsychotic medications to treat the hallucinations.

Nabeela - Resident Nurse - She treated Forums whenever he was sick and read stories of the beloved Kacaan and sang Gulwaade songs to appeal to Forums' nostalgia of the Old Somalia.

FAH1223 - Junior Orderly - As dementia set in, FAH1223, the resident orderly was hired to hold down Forums and prevent Forums from hurting himself and others.

Hyperactive - Wadaad and Spiritual Assistant - After all medical options failed to work, the Somalinet family sought a spiritual intervention to help their father. The young imam from Doha began a series of quransar and dispensed tahliil to help ease Forums suffering.


Unfortunately, there was nothing that could be done to help Forums. He passed away on May 24, 2010 at 6pm after a long battle with an assortment of illnesses. He is survived by his family: Marwo Chat and their children: News (5yrs old), Business (7 yrs old), Singles (10 yrs old), Video (2 yrs old) and Internet Directory (1 yrs old).

May God Have Mercy on Brother Forums. You will be missed.

I doubt it is dying. I think it is summer season where many people are travelling and visiting family and friends. Do you people who were here long enough keep statictics how the posting were in the last 5 summers to just check if there is a normal pattern this time of the year or if there is something odd taking place?
