I was thinking of getting a games console (qalqaalinimadii baa igu soo yara kacdey). I haven't played any games since the PS2 and my Pro-evo/Prince of Persia days. I would like to know in terms of price, performance and value; which one do you recommend, the PS3 or Xbox 360? Please state you're reasons, thanks .

PS3, free online (you have to pay for xbox online), nice slim controllers, internet browser, sexy looking console too.

Whch games? Buy Assassins Creed 2 and FIFA World Cup 2010 and your life will be GREATLY improved

I know its ridiculuously high priced.

but the 360 is good too, and the same graphics as gameplay as any ps3 game.
but remember if you gonna buy a 360 make sure you get a harddrive with it and not a memory card one so you can save your games on the harddrive so it runs VERY smoothly and there is a low chance of cd scratching (the xbox 360 scratches discs sometimes: DO NOT MOVE THE CONSOLE TOO WHILE ITS RUNNING)

I'd recommend 360, but then again it will come down what genre you're into. 360 seems to have exclusive titles like Halo, Gears of War and Fable that attract me so at the end of the day you pick the console that has what you want to play.

What do mean? What sorts of games are the PS3 and the 360 designed for? I thought just generally played all the same games with the exception of a few exclusive titles?
