Why Somalia must have Sharia

Post by galia »

I am of those that believe that Somalia must be governed by Sharia not democracy. Sharia is the implementation of Gods laws and no man made laws is higher than Gods laws. From marriage/divorce too inheritance/capital punishment, all will be governed by Shria. Sadly Khawariij groups such as Harakaat Al-shabaab Mujahideen and Hizbul Islam are ruining this dream. They are committing horrific unslaimic acts on the name of Allah swt. Making the task of encouraging the somali people to accept Sharia law very difficult because of the horrific activities of the Khawariij. In many parts of somalia, there is much ignorance of the Sunnah. People know the Quraan but they do not know the Sunnah. Worse a somali brother is still killing a somali brother, how can we stop this?
The only way that Somalia can have Sharia is through the TFG. Which is an Islamic government that is hell bent on the implementation of the sharia. To implement sharia we need to have in place able scholars who are qualified to pass judgment according to the Quraan and Sunnah. Most importantly we need unity for the sake of Allah swt and our own good to stop the divisions.

So my message is that Khawariij groups such as Haraakat Al-shabaab Mujahideen are the enemies of Islam. They have called believing people as Murtads, made the lives and wealth of believing men/women halaal for them to take.

Subhanallah, we have a forum member here who has called President Sheikh shariff a Murtad. And walahi i can bring brothers here as witness to what he stated.
Volume 8, Book 73, Number 71:

Narrated Abu Dhar:

That he heard the Prophet saying, "If somebody accuses another of Fusuq (by calling him 'Fasiq' i.e. a wicked person) or accuses him of Kufr, such an accusation will revert to him (i.e. the accuser) if his companion (the accused) is innocent." ( Sahih Bukhari)
Sahih Muslim Book 001, Number 0116:

It is reported on the authority of Ibn 'Umar that the Apostle (may peace and blessings be upon him) observed: When a man calls his brother an unbeliever, it returns (at least) to one of them.
