BTW you could tell they weren't somali for the simple reason that they didn't drown. Somalis will cross the scorching libyan desert or the desolate wastelands of somalia, only to drown in the Mediterranean sea or the Red sea. Really sad but slightly amusing.

So I'm here thinking Qaddafi might have promised the Italian prime minister he was gonna do something about illegal immigration . But on the other hand they also say these bodies were found on that part of the desert that is Niger . They might have died of thirst ..I dunno .

Salaam walaal. I don't speak Italian, but my sister does. So I got her to watch it and translate it for me. The video is talking about how these poor migrants hide in the military cars leaving from Libya in order to get to Rome. They get out of the cars and go on foot once they reach the Sahara...they walk 80 kilometers in the scorching Sahara desert. Most of them die of thirst, and dehydration. One hundred migrants died in just 4 months..often their bodies are not even recovered..they're left to rot and are consumed by the sand. The commentator says Berlusconi and Qaddafi are behind this terrible fate these people suffer. They both agreed to make it hard for them to get into Rome..and for them to suffer and die in such a horrendous way. It's really sad.
