Like it says on the article telesom is owned by 1100 share holders including the little people like me. They didn’t dispute the said man owns lion share of it. They’re just saying he doesn’t own 60%, which makes him the majority owner and the ultimate decirsion maker. There is a difference

Barkaat wasn’t only xawaald but telecom any as well. If you actually know the history of how Telesom (which does exist many part of this world including Somalia proper) came to light under Egal’s administration than you would know what I’m talking about. That is beside the point though.

I understand the position of Telesom being upset if the named individual has no powe in Telesom. Most of the time Hatuf’s articles have no merit. They try to expose issues with unfouded results.

I don’t think the guy owns 60% but he’s one of the major share holders of the company.

If their business is clean from faqash iyo wadaado xag jira, Telesom doesn’t need ONLY family owned news sites to defend their case. If you have nothing to hide, put it out there like Dahabshill for the world to see.
The locals called Telesom the ex-barkat.

They need to do massive business campaign to clear their name, if that is the case of course. If not they have nothing to worry about...just be transparent. Hadii kale there will always be questions.

I know al of Somaliland business inside out. Whose suspect and who is not.

In 2008, Telesom sent out personal letters to some of the few major business owner individuals in Somaliland and Djibouti (isaaqs) and offered hefty share ownership. They all refused due to lack of transparency of their business affiliation with the gadh dheere (who are NOT locals)s.

The first thing Cigaal told them when Barakaad became under attack of the west was, change the name and I will take it from here. Ever since, Telesom pays sizable contribution to the administration, Rayaale to name one. Guess who was the guest speaker of both Telesom and Gassom, Rayaale with his heavy artillery.

Telesom needs to come correct and clean. There are more questions than answers.
They don’t employ locals who‘re chewers but they have foreigner workers who drinks. WTF.


Abyan the water and soft drink company is also suspect of these catz.

Believe me it is i even went there in hargeysa myself on my car i posted the picture before in here the biggest telsom tower in all of telsom towers is located in southern hargeysa.
