Why Muslims waiving St georges' flag for the World Cup?

Post by surrender »

:?

dont you know the flag is the symbolic reference to Saint George? can you not support the country you want to support (in this case England) without waiving a Chrisitian flag?

i have seen so many Muslims and few Somalis waiving this flag and using the world cup as excuse. i know is the football season, but being Muslim and waiving Christian Flag (the people that believe Isa AS was son of God) doesnt go together! have some principles for God's sake!

The flag represents England, no religious connotation attached to it.

At least they're not waving the Sardnian version of the st george cross:Image

( the black figures represent the heads of Muslims Moors, supposedly commemorating a defeat of An Arab/Muslim invasion).

No i dont know, but i am not the one waving the flag and if I did, my intention would be to support England, nothing more. I guess its the same for everyone else.
