What is your limit?

Post by BlackVelvet »

How much did your current toothbrush cost? Mine was at most £2.50, I did buy a more expensive £5.99 oral b pulsar once but that was an impulse buy and I still feel ripped off; the bristles felt like sticks and a toothbrush that vibrates will remind you too often of the dentist.

Anyway lest you think this too random, I have good reason for seeking your opinion. A friend of mine wanted to buy one that cost £80  Isn't that ridiculous? £80 for a toothbrush! Who knew a toothbrush could cost that much? It's been stuck in my head (obviously I like to store intriguing information) and guess what I found? A toothbrush that costs, wait for it, £199.99

Isn't that amazing!

I am not joking http://www.boots.com/en/HX6972-Philips- ... ProductId=

Apparently it has a 2 minute timer. I mean if you still haven't figured out how long it takes to properly brush your teeth then what hope have you got in life :?

Marka has the stinginess of my asian friends rubbed off? What is the maximum you would ever spend on a toothbrush?

Phillips Sonicare is really good, I really want one, and I'm gonna get one soon insha'allah, so I'd say my max is $120

I think that's waaay too much. My cousin bought a 100 quid toothbrush once..and I was like  we're gonna be questioned for our extravagant spending. Then again, I spend so much money on clothes iyo junk. I bought a purse for a ridiculous amount. Do you know how much a somali caday costs? I want to start using them.

No more than 30 squid...Id feel really guilty spending that kind of money on something like a toothbrush...even if I had the money in the first place.

Doesn't matter How much You spend on a toothbrush, if You don't vigoriously brush/floss Your teeth throughout the day. Those folks have poor hygiene, and they think using a magic toothbrush will solve everything.

most i spend on a single toothbrush is 50 pence( that is how much 1 somali cadey cost in my neck of the woods.) and for good luck i visit a dental hygienist every 7 months(most i paid is £45) last couple times i visited them they'd told me i did not need anything done to my teeth and to keep doing what ever I've done. This increase my faith in cadey. i always keep one in my pocket and bring it out when am on park bench or the like. sometimes some people think like am sucking on a lollipop. lol.
