This incidents make no sense, there should clear mandates for both forces and nno grey areas for them to clash over.

When you evaluate the command structure of police globally for the most part police department's mandate through their own boards maintain an independence municipal department ensuring no interference from politicians. They are the preservers of the civilian law and order and as such are charged with that which maintains the best interests of the civilian population.

The military have a totally different role and are primarly influenced by the government, their role is to guard the country against external threats and internal terrorist organisation such as Al-sharmut.

Where the two collide and seems to be a grey area is in border control and stop and search. The military have no jurisdiction in civilian affairs and their methods are ruthless in how they carry out stop and search. In addition they are less disciplined and are willing to loot where they are presented with an opportunity to suppliment their non-existant salary.

When the military loot out of desperation they have broken the law and this then becomes a matter for the police as they have jurisdiction when it comes to internal affairs.

The only reason why the clashes occur is because the government who have stolen the salary of the military will not make clear the different roles of the two forces. They remain silent fully aware they are responsible for the clashes. This only further alienates the civilians and the police leaving them only the option of joining Al-sharmud.

These cowards are not willing to resign and have to smoked out of their hyena dens... AU and the international community needs to severe all support to them as the TFG is the derivate of the worst elements of the WARLORDS and FAKE-SHEIKS.
