Ahlu Sunna seeking profit with New Tax program.

Post by snoop12 »

these people are straying from their path of duty, they have now begun taxing remittance at a 1% rate, for every houndred dollars they get 1 dollar. this means within a few months they will become extremely well off group, but they have clearly over step both moral and legal bounderies.

i always looked at Ahlu S group as a security force and nothing else, their political endeavour back several months was extremely inappropriate and im glad they got shut off in the most humiliating way and i thought they would learn from it. but instead they are taking it to new lengths and even meddling with peoples incomes, Caabudwaaq literately recieves millions of dollars every year in remittance for both charities, families etc. people who are sick and in need of money for medication or a dentist will be charged by a group whom they have no knowledge of, it is simply outragious.

i know what you mean, but i didnt support this group because of their intentions but their actions against the violently invading alshabab, it is clear this Ahlu Sunna group is after quick profit when they decided to associate themselves with TFG and some of them ran of to Ethiopia to steal the money. but taxing remittance, is totally unacceptable !! people worked hard for that money and some barstards think they are entitle to take a % off it ? wtf, who elected them as a government to tax people ?

to me and most other people they were just a security force dealing with an eminent threat.

VOA 30 june 2010, listen in at 22:00 minutes into the radio news, there is a debate about this issue of taxing the remittance flow.

Iimaan Muse, for the action of ASWJ

Axmed Diini, against the actions of ASWJ

they seem to be touching some of my points, i still think ASWJ acted totally outside their legal and moral rights and this interview just made it worse and proved that they are contradictory and lack blatant info about the region which can only mean carelessness.

A- their response was, we are not forcing anyone When in reality they are since otherwise it would never had been an issue in the first place.

B- their reason was, to repair roads? Caabudwaaq has no roads going from/to in any direction, all that can be found is dirt tracks that neither needs costly repairs or maintenance.

to be honest, i see ASWJ as an intruding enemy as they are becoming way too political internally and externally, i would not mind this if they had been elected or atleast has the majority's support. its a petty they are taking these drastic efforts in efforts in taking money from the public without first gaining their full support both as an entity and in this recent decision and action.

i predict their growing support will fall immediately with not a minute of delay because of this action and the political actions prior to it. ASWJ was to many of us a security force who could have gained enough assurance from elders, main businessmen and local population for economic support. seems like they have no chance of that now if they keep running in the wrong direction.
