Can you believe a grandfather alienating a son of his daughter as a total Stranger who has no right in the family but a son of a son would would be the hire to crown. Kulahaa Inaankaan gabar unbaa dhashay reerka kama tirsano.
Can you believe this happening to a boy who grew up in the west and does not understand the whole concept. He actually liked his Mother's father more than anyone but he chose him over a son of a son. He used to say My awowe this, my awowe that. all of a sudden waxaa lugu dhahay your cousins from your abti are more closer to awowe than you.
My Question is, How is a son of daughter less Important to a grandfather's family than a son of a son.

Hold your horses!!!
The Grand son of a daughter is himself the grand son of a son from his father's side... as a result the eqaution balances out.
Your arguement is weak as there are situations that would give advantage to the son of a daughter...
No offence.

He is not less important! As he has no obligation (responsibility) of helping his maternal grand father he cant have the privileges going with that obligation.hanad_mn wrote:Can you believe a grandfather alienating a son of his daughter as a total Stranger who has no right in the family but a son of a son would would be the hire to crown. we are not talking about Mom's sister's kids. We are talking about Mom's brother's kids. You and your mom's sister's kids are considered not part of the family.OliveOil wrote:I have Hawiye, Reer Xamar, and Arab first cousins...my mom's sister's kids..and they are not "part" of the family
