He was born in Gliwice, Poland) and you can even see his name "Lukas Podolski" that is a polish name, he plays for germany laakinse natively his polish like that turkish kid who also plays for germany.

If you grow up in a country all your life then why can't you play for them like podolski did and as for ozil he was born in germany and his dad came as a baby to germany so he is most definitely german.
