Cavs had all the time in the world to be champions, seven yrs to be exact. All they had to do was bring a second semi start to the team, a sidekick. Instead they decided they can collect all the leftovers of the league. The garbage that either could be something or used to be something. They figured they had the best player in the league and they were good forever. Lebron made the best move for himself, he knows that he'll need help to win a ring and if the Cavs were not bring anyone over, he would go and win it somewhere else.
