what kind of food do you eat, buy on is in your fridge almost every week?

for me, every time I go to the Grocery we buy...

1. Milk
2. Tea --(there is no Somali that doesn't drink tea every day)
3. Cereal
4. Banana ( come'on , you can't get more Somali than banana, we eat it with every thing)
5. Peanut butter
6. Bread
7. Honey
8. Pasto & Rice ( basto and bariis in every Somali restuarant, the ultimate somali gourmet food)
9. chicken
10. Tuna fish ( canned tuna fish is the best)
11. Ranch
12. Chocalate chip cookies (my all time favorite) actually I like anything cookie.

These are the top things I buy at any given trip to the grocery store.

Only other things missing are Welch's passion fruit juice, turkey slices, organic yogurt, veggies, salmon, frozen Tombstone pizza, halal chicken strips/breast, etc.

Ever since discovering how horridly animals are treated by the food industry and the amount of hormones that go in to feeding livestock, I try to stick to organic. It costs a couple dollars more, but you can enjoy it with a peace of mind and a clear conciense.

You wanna eat foods that at least have fiber in them and good nutrients or else you'll end up with acid reflux or something worse.

Organic foods are expensive and had to find, so I just go a long with brand name foods.

I had to learn it the hard way bro. After spending my college years eating nothing but Dominos pizza at 2AM and cafeteria junk food, I ended up with one fucked up acid reflux.

Since then, I'm trying to watch what I eat or else, I know what awaits.

Organic isn't even as expensive as most people think, a dozen organic eggs costs around $3.50-$3.99. Whereas regular eggs costs around $2-$3. Same thing with the milk, a little bit more, but its worth every penny, at least that's how I look at it. Cage free eggs/organic eggs are very crucial, 'cause in the chicken industry, chicken never move. They sit in one spot, stacks, upon stacks and never move, which is very messed up and unhealthy.

You should watch a documentary called Food, inc.

It'll blow you away.
