Elaborate your point. ALl i know is, islamically it is haraam to pray with body tatoo. Salat is not just sujud and allahu akbaar, there is a purity ritual that goes with it. Allaah forgive our sins.

Basra no, I can't reform Islam because Islam does not need a reformation. It is the muslims that I wish to see reformed.

Basra the believer is someone who finds 70 excuses for a muslim bfore he finds fault in them, perhaps that person who can't hold back their pee has a physical condition, therefore allah might accept his salat.
About Mike Tyson you haven't a clue whether he intends to remove those tattoos or not, so until then will his salat be invalid?

Its seems like we r operating on a different speed whop brain. The latest interview Tyson did on Oprah and on the view, he was covered with tatoo, upto his face. So there, i do know if he still has his tatoo.(not to mention his girly,voice and his long girly nails. what is wrong with him??) But that is besides the point. My point was, a person performing salaat with tattoo on his/her body CANNOT perform salat or he/she can but it will not be accepted. There!--is it hard to digest this point?


Second of all, On the pee clause-- when men stand pee-ing their drip all over right? It is said a single drop on your cloth can make your salat null and void. Fahaamtu habibti?

For women it is a drop of blood and pee of course.

I get what your saying if you were the one whom it was being pray to and it was your choice of accepting or not, then you wouldn't accept it, ok I get you. The reality of it is... it is not up to you whether or not his salat is valid or even accepted, again it is none of your business.

Salat is incumbent on every muslim, and whether you believe it is being accepted or not we will never know, but we must always pray no matter what. As you may know, if some one drinks alcohol there salat is not accepted for 40 days, but that does not mean you are suppose to stop praying because if you do then you get the sin for not praying. You must pray because it is obligatory on you no matter what sins you may have.

I see you are singing a 'Reformist tune'---- u can't interpret Quran like a piece of Law legislature. It is clearly stated in Quran the guildlines for a complete and accpeted salat, and here you are--preaching doubt and democracy clause-when the issue is black and white.

The alcohol clause example u gave is perfect. Corrections first-- it is not 40 days but 7 days. And yes, within these 7 days u MUST refrain from performing salat while the alcohol is still in your body. Maybe i am wrong about this, we can certainly ask a sheikh, but my informed guess is--u need to follow the guidelines. ALlaah is most merciful, he can forgive u, but u need to wait to be pure to worship and perform salat, its matter of respect and humility, not democracy and translation.
