You hit the nail on the head with this sentence!!! Aniga, that is my personal experience...when the year 09 started, my new year's resolution was to make more male friends...before that I had only one...(I had a really good reason for that lol--trust me!!!) Anyways after a month or two, I was hanging out with a crowd of guys....N one other girl...we would have discussions ranging from relationships, politics, men/women, religion, history...etc etc...MashAllah they were an intelligent bunch, N Alxamdulilah while I was with them....I've analysed the male psychology through them...I gained a lot!! However, there is a downer-part to almost everything around us...and in this case, men just like women...GOSSIP!!!! N wallahi they gossip just like women....I don't get it when people say....women gossip more than men or men don't gossip at all....which reminds of me that Somali proverb: Women for Gossip and men for tea (Nin waa shaah, dumarna waa sheeko)....which is absolutely, incredibly, and utterly wrong if you ask me!!!! Men have dramas, men have kutiri kuteens (hearsay), men are just like women expect they are just anatomically different....N they joke A LOT....they r less serious and more playful if that makes sense lol
So marka, I've decided the same year...a little before 2010 started, that I will stop hanging out with them...and just occationally see them when the time calls....

I've learned that...as I'm getting older...its much harder to be fully "friends" with guys cause we r simply not same...most guys from what I've noticed are into the fast life...so being friends with them...adigana waa ku taraaraxee that same lifestyle....speaking merely from experience
