But many analysts argue that it would be better, in the long run, to pull out all the peacekeepers, let the transitional government fall, let the Shabab take over the country, and then allow clan militias and businessmen to rise up and overthrow them. The eventual result, analysts argue, would be a government that would be more organic and therefore more durable than a government that relies on outside forces to survive.
I bet you hadii ay dalka qabsadaan, In aysan waligood laga tuuri doonin.
That is actually a better idea than having 30,000 armed bantus in the country. Anyone who cares about their country would never support the deployment of more foreign troops to their land.
Southern somalis want al-shabab gone. Those that condone the existence of al-shabab either have blind faith for al-shabab or wish to see southern somalis opressed and weakend so as to have an advantage over them.
Anyone willing to promote al-shabab in the south must first welcome shabab in their own home. Why pray for and force on the south an unwelcomed foreign agent with destructuve tendencies. They are murderers that will be shunned by the world for every. You don't expect the arabs to come running to throw their Riyaals at somalis when they no longer produce any headline news.
The arabs consider the somalis as mere nigeroes bambo-sudani.
Al-shabab rule on southern somalia will ensure the extinction of southern somalis and the impact will not cease their, terrorist will be trained there that will continue to have a global agenda. So long as shabab's political plan is 100% based on economic wheel chair donated by arabs, the arabs will continue to have them as suicide bomers across the globe to deliver their message to their enemies. Southern somalis will become slaves to external foriegn economic slavery.
I would support shabab's existance if they denounced global terror and reconciled with the other political entities already at play in southern somalia. Otherwise we will never see an end of foriegn agendas and the birth of counter shabab forces which will be perpetual til we have zero population in southern somalia.
Stop the hypocricy!
TFG - is muslim
ASWJ - is muslim
If al-shabab agenda is islamic then let them follow inthe footsteps of the prophet[pbuh].
Otherwise i fully support sufficient strikes against al-shabab to weaken them to a level that can be managed by a joint TFG+warlords+other islamic groups. Absolute power corrupts absolutely and i would prefer a balanced and shared coalition of all power-players in souther somalia so as to maintain an equilibrium of peace vs justice.
I can never buy nor understood how the agents of Ethiopia, Mossad, and others can have the best interest of Somalis, especially Southern Somalia, at heart. It is a mere spin and propoganda that have been thrown here and is all intended to prevent and destroy the peace and stability that exists in Southern Somalia.
The west spent at least hundreds of billions of dollars in Afghanistan and could not stabilize it. Every one knows that the 1st thing that any concern authority does is to restore peace and stability and if it can't do that, then tough luck that authority is not genuine and/or the people are not supporting it. There is no peace and stability in Afghanistan where they have 100,000 troops whereas in Southern Somalia there is a peace and stability that prevails there without spending not even a 30 million dollars. All it took was a genuine Somalis took the fight to the warlords and threw them out and delivered tough measures to those who were making a living out of the misery of the Somalis.
I agree with Berke, Abdisamad, and every one else with similar views that the introduction of new foreign troops will only increase the suffering in Somalia and will be used at any levels to destroy the peace and stability that exists in 95% of Southern Somalia.

We had 20 years of clan war fueled by businessmen; I fail to see how this can ever work.
