It was geared towards community mobilization and empowerment. We wanted to make sure that we worked towards a single coherent and tangible goals as to the alleviation of the challenges and problems faced in our regions and also to network. There are enormous amount of youth that are educated and can play a productive part in the future of our regions and peoples. We wanted them to network and get to know one another. It was really revealing. People that I never imagined to be tolka, coming up to me and saying iskawaran. We are quite big. 80% of the people that came to the shiir were from the Twin Cities. The biggest Mudulood Community in the State are in Rochester and they were not well represented.
