A woman's worth? A man's worth?

Allah teaches us that women are valuable and it is obvious that without women there is no society, no future and no hope.

I would like to know where does the woman's worth lie? Because I truly believe that if she doesnt hold a pHD in Kitchen and Cooking and she doesnt want children or have the knowledge to look after children then in fact she is truly worthless.

Similarly, where does the worth in men lie because I believe that if a man cannot look after his wife, children and family then he is truly worthless.
