This is South of Awrboogays. When you leave Xudun and you are very close Awrboogays, this is the "caris" before Awrboogays. It is about 4 miles before you get to Awrboogays.The_Emperior5 wrote:udun wrote:

Actually, my family did have horses but if you remember 1 year ago, there was a severe drought that has killed many camels. All of our horses died in that draught with the exception of geenyo lamaan that were in the Sanaag region with a relative. I shall take her photo inshallah in my next trip.The_Emperior5 wrote:warya udun did you also ride horses in awr boogeys dhulkaso kalle ba fardaha la dhex erya

Well Emperor, most of the people with the right knowledge is outside of the country. This is the main reason why we should all learn the right skills and move back with those skills. Yeah, inshallah I will take those pictures after I went back about year and half.The_Emperior5 wrote:udun wrote:Actually, my family did have horses but if you remember 1 year ago, there was a severe drought that has killed many camels. Inaadeer in the last Somali government, Awrboogays and Xabaala Camaare were added to the Sool region but I am in the opinion that they should always stay with Sanaag due to the reasons you and I understand. I only had 10 days and could not reach those towns. I was visiting relatives in Nugaal Godan (Xaysimo). You know due to the last Gu' season, the relatives that I have visited went to the Xasysimo for good pasture and that was the reason why I showed those images. Inshallah, in my future visits, I shall visit them. I could not even reach Kulaal due to the time constraints.Cartan Boss wrote:Udun good stuff inader
Awrbogays iyo Xabaale Camaare r in South Sanaag not in Sool, i wanna see some images of Masagan, xagal, Dhaxamo, Jiidali and Ceeri
Abdalle, what I saw was the local elders won't even let farming to take place on those areas and they won't even let people to dig water holes. For them, it is for livestock grazing. Since the last gu season was good in all of Somalia, the area looks so much beautiful. I think you can buy land in the towns and cities but I doubt the elders would allow any one to use the grazing area of the Savana for other purposes. I saw two clans feuding over a small valley because one of them was using a valley to grow commercial grazing for the sheep that is exported thru Bosaso. It was calmed down where the clan that were using the land was only allowed to take very small area of the valley and was told they must allow every one else to settle that small section of the valley in one of the rainy seasons.abdalla11 wrote:Beautiful land. Can anybody buy land there or is it only reserved for tolka lol
