disclosure: Not really like ayaan, as Norma is a born Christian, demonizing Islam. (or capitalizing in the hate environment on muslims) Ayaan is a born Muslim gone athiest. Just like Twisted, and nomadwarlod.
Hilarious! Walaahi i am cracking up crazy here. I am watching Showtime documentary about this Norma Khouri person wrote a so called Memoir about her best friend Dalia--a muslim girl who was killed by her own father because she dated a Christian. Supposedly this all happened in her native country of Jordan. Norma began her story by sending an email to Random publishing in the UK to sell her falsified story. She was adviced to get an agent and sell her book. She did that, and lo and behold the book became a best seller. The book is called "Forbidden love" By Norma Khouri. At this time she was living in Greece and was quickly asked where she wanted to live as a refugee. She chose, australia.
The book became instant best seller in Australia first, then Europe and of course America. She even dated an australian who imagined she was a virgin, because in her book she claimed her best friend was killed for nothing. She died a virgin, thefore i am a virgin too. An australian horny cadaan becomes intrigued about her and starts to date her. HE asks---"I hope i am not rude, but u r 34 years old, are you a virgin? Its not normal, can i touch u'?? She laughs it all and says she is married to her cause: Defending the rights of Jordanian women.
Fast forward--- a year later---A reporter named Malcom investigate and uncovers these facts
1 Nearly all the places and facts in the book--are fictional.Upto the details of coins used in the book which were produced in 2000, but the story supposedly happened in 96 ! lol Dalia, the so called virgin best friend's death was never recorded. (ok this can happen, honor killings do happen, and mostly not doculented lol)
2 Our Dear Norma--is not virgin or single. She immigrated to the united states in early 90s. She is married and has two kids. She abandoned them of course. The Chicago rough neighborhood know her by name.
The funny thing about the documentary is ---they are showing counter sides of the big fraud fiction story. A bunch of Jordanian women, a dr. and a lesbian Jordanian reporter---enraged at the fiction of this norma.
