Pro Gandi town hall meeting in MN

The Professor's meeting with the MN Somali community can only be described a true town hall meeting. You rarely see a politician choosing this style because it could lead to a down fall of his/her political career as it open to everyone to scrutinize the speaker. Only someone as confident as Obama chooses this open discussion town hall meeting which has no specific rules or filtering questions. Community leaders from different regions, backgrounds and tribes attended. All the people that attended the meeting can testify that the Professor answered all questions posed to him to their satisfaction and on top of that Professor Gandi challenged the Diaspora community to get involved and to take the lead of their country.

At which university does Prof Gaandi lecture? Wikipedia only mentions his Phd degree but it doesn´t say anything about him being a professor.

This guy is worse than sheikh dalxiis, the other day he was in sweden, today he's in minneapolis, tomorrow he'll be in malaysia. To rally whom? A bunch of working class people who can hardly pay their bills in america, he expects those check-to-check civilians to fight a struggle halfway across the world. Does he realize that some of the people, in fact most at his meeting have been in america less than 5 years and the last thing they want to do is think about africa, they only attend to pass the time and its what somalis do anyway around here.

He should be giving this speech in somalia not minneapolis, same with every other diaspora conference. only warlords and fake suldaans are good at rallying diaspora for their causes, otherwise the productive communities like puntland do things in reverse where the diaspora rallies the politicians on the ground when they are ready to do their part; ask yourself if cadde musse ever visited the diaspora after leaving his petrol station in canada; instead the diaspora visited him in somalia.

But....I expect this post to get the treatment from typical good-for-nothing keyboard warriors, they will harangue me and talk about the "professor's background" some more and get back to fighting the great cyber war, totally ignoring basic lessons in life. ..
