Imam Samaroon, the only Mujahid who was looking after the western flank of the Sa'd ud Din's army in the war against the Xabashis

He was the Khalid ibn Walid (Radhi Allahu Anhu) of East Africa.

The great Imam Samaroon Siciid

Imam Cali Si'iid aka Imam Samaroon Si'iid he was a fighter who was Reer Zeila. He was the commander of the Western flank of the Army fo Sacaduddin and yes Rightwing you guessed correctly. Sacaddudin is the island off Zeila, his name has been commemorated there because that is where our great leader Sacaddudin was martyred by the Xabashis.

However Imam Samaroon (Ra) was a commander of the Western flank of his army. Some people say they were cousins however Allahu Aclam.

Sadly, we persist in not to trace our history back to those dark ages.
