At least 70 people died in Somalia, including 20 lawmakers, as Islamist insurgents intensified an offensive to seize the few remaining neighborhoods of the capital, Mogadishu, still held by the Western-backed government.

The lawmakers died after two suicide bombers disguised as government soldiers shot dead people staying at the Muna Hotel in the south of the city before blowing themselves up, the Information Ministry said in an e-mailed statement today.

This is not a victory but a tragedy of epic proportions, who is ultimately responsible for this massacre, not Al shabab not AMISOM, but those who are funding the Al shabab extremists and TFG opportunists, the international community. There should be no exterior influences so that us xalaal southern somalis can solve our differences without Puqland iyo Dirta waqooyi influence.

Without them we would not have the Amir al shaydan Axmed Abuzubar Godane and without Puqland's leader Abudllahi Yusuf we would still have a functioning southern enitity. They can ALL go to hell.
