I think it is time Al-Shabaab and TFG to agree to make peace
Al-Shabaab is in a better position to negotiate and TFG should understand that AMISOM, neither Ethiopia nor the "boys with the big necks" would want to help it seriously. Basically, they are not genuinely strengthening the TFG and at the same time not allowing Al-Shabaab to take over the country. It is a stalemate and all that is caught in the middle are the people of Somalia. I personally think it is the best interest of the Somalis for these two groups to agree. I assure you if that happens, it would be a huge blow against the game that has some designed for Somalia and its people.
Let us hope and pray for the best.

Al-shabab is high on power sxb they think they can wrestle control. They believe there winning and negotiating is not a good trade-off for them.

You can't mediate with a group that is fighting for something entirely not Somali.

Bro Abdisamad, I see your point but these Amisom you see are mercenaries. The folks who are behind Somalia's saga are bigger powers.abdisamad3 wrote:udun tfg is not the problem sxb, its the fufu's..they need to get out and everything will be okey.

If TFG officials and all of the soldiers accept their mistakes and repent, I think Al-Shabaab should welcome them and deal with them as their Somali Muslim brothers. The point of my post is they are both in a circle of violence where neither one of them is allowed to be a winner. Brother, all I see is the box-in policy regenerated each time the "boyz" are making progress. If TFG accepts the deal and demands that all foreign forces should leave Somalia, I think the AU and other covers that are being used would be difficult to sell. I hope you get my point.Somali-Star wrote:udun,

Damn I knew you were a die hard al-kalaab supporter, kulha repent, I get the impression that you are making Al-kalaabta the righteous group as if Al-kalaabtu will lead those TFG sinners when they repent to heaven, my question to you is who are the real sinners?udun wrote:If TFG officials and all of the soldiers accept their mistakes and repent, I think Al-Shabaab should welcome them and deal with them as their Somali Muslim brothers. ^Goljano, like I stated many times I support no group but in my observations TFG did not do much even tough I understand that the support it has gotten was very little and it is a trojan horse that is used to maintain the endless stalemate in Somalia. Mogadishu and its Somali inhabitants deserves peace and which group one supports is irrelevant and the sooner the Somali groups realize that the better.
