What is tribe etiquette?
When you meet a new person or get to know a co-worker, neighbor or a girl-friend/fiancee, who is Somali, how long do you wait to disclose your tribe to them?
sometimes it could backfire and sometimes it could help you, as you may be very close to the person, so you could jeapardize your business or friendship.

I'm not always big on tribe, and I don't worry, if a person doesn't tell me, what his tribe is, he could be my friend for years, and I won't ask. But lately, I sometimes you see ppl trying to figure out your tribe, and asking you all kinds questions, like "where were you born" or "do you support this or that" and I like to play with this fools and keep them guessing, but sometimes, I wonder if I'm breaking the Somali culture etiquette, which is to disclose your tribe, if you keep interacting a new person more three or four times.

The sooner you discuss that subject matter the better. I say that because there is always going to be suspicion if Somalis don't know the clan/clans of their Somali encounters.

Never discuss it, it's 2010 there's no reason to know such a thing.
such backwardness should be left back home.
