Cause i have read a passage when ibn batuta came to zeila he mentioned that the absolute majority of somalis were supporter of ahluu bayt.
he mentioned properly an offshot of the Zayd of yemen

OMG wallahi Djib nin mutacalim baad tahay, I never knew you you knew about this history. I dont know about Somalis but I know reer awdal our forefathers were supporte of ahlulbayt. All my forefathers were lovers of AhlulBait. In Camuud we have the ancient mosque for the Zaydis. I follow the teachings of Imam Zayd (RadhiAllah anhu wa Ardhaa).
