Gaining Weight in Ramadan

Post by AbdiWahab252 »

Whats the best way to gain weight ? I am down 9lbs and got that qaxooti look. How can I regain it ? I am overwhelmed with the Bajia, sambuus, shushumow, muufo, baasto hawiye, soor, to eat any suxur.

What are some high calorie foods that don't create a sugar crash in the mid afternoon ?

Abdi,

I think most people lose weight during ramadan waa iska caadi, I lost about 15 lbs myself, which is alot, if you really want to gain weight, the trick is not to eat alot during iftaar, and save everything for suxur time, eat baasto with suugo iyo hilib, misa bariis with hilib, salad, moose, etc and just go to bed.

Isn't it really a bit hard to gain weight during the Blessed Month of Ramadan, especially when we're fasting almost about 15 and a half hours a day for 30 days....? I'm doing good though. Haven't gain weight nor do I lost anything so far, and the Ramadan is almost over.

Indeed Praise be to Allah. May Allah grant us forgiveness and bless the Muslim Ummah. AMIIN!
