Solutions for Somalia Proper

As-Salaamu Alaikum,

We are in the last 10 nights of Ramadan. We must pray for Somalia Proper and all other Muslim counteries that are facing security problems. Let us not doubt the power of making Duàa.

Now, looking at some human efforts Somalia Proper can make to find solutions:

1. Somalia Proper needs to recognize Somaliland.
2. Somalia Proper should have a truth and reconciliation confrence.
3. Somalia Proper should increase intermarriage between clans to foster trust.
4. Somalia Proper should distribute power equitably between clans.
5. Somalia Proper should promote love of your neighbour and brother more than love of your clan member.
6. Somalia Proper should promote the meaning of citizenship.
7. Somalia Proper should promote a new political culture of win-win rather than zero sum game of winner takes all.

These are but a few approaches to lasting peace and prosperity.

Why should recognizing Somaliland be at the top? Shouldn't number 6 be at the top?

I personally believe the reason Somalia Proper has not found a solution thus far is due to lack of justice. If Somalia Proper can give justice to the citizens of Somaliland by respecting their decision, then Somalia Proper can be just with itself. If it is not just with its neighbours, Somalia Proper cannot be just with itself.
