How can you claim to have the right to celebrate eid on September 10-13 in a area where the owners of the land "non-Muslims" are against it?

Is like celebrating a Christmas in a Muslim country, and the people are against it, YET the minority Christians expecting it to celebrate it with their noses up in the air.

Obviously, they're not criticizing the EID itself, but rather the timing we chose.

Just move the eid. Be tolerant to the 70% of Americans who are against the celebrating of the eid.

Muslims shouldn't be trying to piss off other people, for that will make Muslims seems like they're manipulative and hypocritical.

There are millions of Muslims in America, and simply by moving the date of ONE EID shouldn't be an INSULT to the Muslim people, and certainly not the American Muslims.

Advo there is a big difference between the Eid celebrations (which is non negotiable) and a Mosque which is being built for political gain.

The only people who win in the Mosque controversy is the evil disbelieving cowards. The whole earth was made as a place of prayer for the Muslims, the location can easily be changed. If Imam Faisal was sincere in building a Mosque, he wouldnt mind relocating a couple of bloacks away.

However I have understood this charade for what it is! He is working with the enemies of Islam to incite hatred and anger against the Muslims.

If i were them, i would accept this money and make huge islamic centrum little bit far away(5-10 blocks).

Imam Faisal al Munaafiq is the same man who supported the invasion of Afghanistan. Are we really serious that this guy has the interests of the muslims at heart? I would accept the money too and would build an Islamic Research facility in Miama and a couple of block away from Ground Zero.
